Timmerman Family Photo Album

The Timmerman Family Photo Album has slots for 64 Cabinet Cards and one tintype. 2 Cabinet Cards are missing, for a total of 63 ancestor family photos in this album. I estimate most of the cabinet cards in this album are from the period 1890 - 1910.

15 of the Cabinet Card photographs were identified with writing on the album pages. One was identified in period handwriting on the verso (back) of the photo.

Before I remove photographs from an antique album, I photograph the album in its intact and original form. That way I can place the photos back or, if the album itself cannot be saved, I have a record of the original placement of the photos. This can be a good clue for identifying the subjects.
