Step 3. Find Death & Burial Records

You've completed your family Pedigree Chart and Group Sheet. You're ready to start investigating your ancestors and finding their death and burial records. You need these for further clues.

Death Records often contain the following genealogical information:
  • Names of parents of the deceased
    Ancestor Death Record Finder gives all places you can look for a death record for an ancestor
  • Age and location of birth of the deceased
  • Place of burial
  • Name of spouse or other family member

    and the informant who provided the death information
  • Place and date of death
  • Exact cause of death
