Marriage performed by William MACAULAY 23 January, 1820, by license, John McCORMICK and Lucy HERON, widow, both of this parish. Witnesses, Walter MOODY and Maria WELLS. The Rev. William MACAULAY was a brother of John MACAULAY, of Kingston, and was for many years rector of Picton, on the Bay of Quinte, dying at an advanced age.

Marriages performed by Rev. Dr. John STRACHAN 30 January, 1820, by special license, Thomas MAIR, Penetanguishene road and Mary PEARSON, of this parish. Witnesses, Thomas BALDERSON and James BREEKON. Penetanguishene road probably refers to the northern limit of Yonge street, beyond Richmond Hill.

31 January, 1820, by special license, Major George HILLIER, of His Majesty's 74th Regt. of Foot, and Miss Caroline Ann GIVINS, both of this parish. Witnesses, Isabella HILL and Cecil GIVINS. Mrs. Hillier survived her husband for nearly 50 years. He died in 1846, and Mrs. Hillier in 1894. Major Hillier was A.D.C. to Sir Peregrine MAITLAND.
