by J. Brian Gilchrist . Although the 1987 edition is out of print, you can still buy it used.
This book provides a detailed list of all papers published in Ontario
from 1793 on --- including what issues still exist, and where they
can be found.
Using this book enables you to turn to the location of choice, and quickly see what newspapers exist for various time periods. Then you refer to the codes for the location of the existing issues and you know exactly what institution holds the records you want.
