- Nov. 19/96: The Olive Tree had its visitor since March 5/96! Wow! That's just approximately 11,700 people per month stopping by!
- Nov. 18/96: Added Advice for Newbies (in the form of a FAQ) and a Newsgroups FAQ
- Nov. 10/96:Added 17th Century Immigrants to New York Registry to The Olive Tree - if you have ancestors who settled in New York between 1600 and 1699 you should drop by and submit their names - it's a great way to make contacts!
- Nov. 1/96: Added Appendix III of the Red River Expeditionary Force 1870-1877 - over 1700 names of men from various militia units from Canada with full details of land and bounty warrants. Many men were residents of USA, Britain and Ireland
