War of 1812Sir Isaac Brock![]() Isaac Brock was born in Guernsey and came to Upper Canada in 1802. By 1811 he had been made major-general and provisional administrator of Upper Canada. At the battle of Queenston Heights, Brock was killed by an American sniper. Brock's Monument marks the battlefield and is a tourist attraction. The Olive Tree Genealogy is dedicated to bringing you primary sources such as passenger lists, muster rolls, church records and more, FREE of charge.
