Orphan & Orphanage Records Home Children in the House of Providence, Kingston Ontario 1888 In excess of 130,000 children were sent from United Kingdom to Canada & Australia from 1860 to 1930 There were more placement organizations than just Barnardos Home, although it relocated the most children. The Archives of Ontario has created a searchable online database for Home Children.
