SHIPS PASSENGER LISTS TO CANADAShips Passenger Lists to Quebec & New FranceSome passenger lists for 1717-1760, 1778 and 1786 exist in the French colonial records. They have been filmed. There is also a List of destitute emigrants forwarded to Montreal, 1 June 1846. Library and Archives Canada, MG24 B1, vol. 22, p. 690, reel C-15773.Some references can be found in the Colonial Archives database. Keywords: "liste des passagers" or name and “engagement” The Miscellaneous Immigration Index includes records for immigrants from the British Isles to Quebec and Ontario 1801 to 1849. Use the search engine for Ingeneas' databases (free and fee based) The National Archives of Canada holds microfilm copies of the passenger manifests of ships arriving at Québec City and Montréal, Quebec: 1865 - 1935. Arrivals at Montréal between 1865 and 1924 are included in the Quebec lists. An old nominal card index, not very accurate, exists for arrivals at Québec from 1865 to 1869. For arrivals from 1919 to 1922, search in the Form 30A series. I have extracted the names, ages, dates of admission, whether the patient died or recovered and a few notes for some patients. Most patients have their illnesses noted in detail, along with medicines given, reaction of patient and other data.
