Finished copying Aug. 18, 1885, 3 P.M. H.O., Jr.

[Notes:
1. For the years/months/days (of the dead person's age), the book had many entries with underscores. I have changed these to zeroes, for the sake of clarity. I believe the zeroes to be significant, and different from just a blank, which would indicate that the age was not given on the tombstone.
2. The list of tombstones found in the book was sorted only by the first letter of the last name. I have manually re-sorted them by the entire last name, but have kept the first names unsorted in case they indicate a relationship where no explicit relationship was given. I have left a blank line in between separate groups sharing the same last name but not appearing together in the book.
3. There are two entries for persons who died in 1879. It is not clear to me whether the year was given in error in these two cases, or if H.O. Ladd added these two entries to the list when he copied the records in 1885 or when he published his book in 1914.
4. there are indeed a good many really old tombstones still in the church yard, most of which are readable. There are also quite a few piled up against the church or laying flat in the grass, broken off from their base. Probably many of those listed below could not be found at this time.]
